Test Flying For Fun - RC Aircraft and Helicopters

Test Flying For Fun - RC Aircraft and Helicopters

Rc Helicopter

Contrary to popular belief, people who work in model shops don't spend all day every day playing with their own models!!!

However on Friday afternoon Dale and myself decided we were going flying with our own models. We closed the shop dead on 6 o'clock (usually we don't leave till gone 7). We were cashed up, loaded up and off to our own secret flying site in Kent by 6.30.

We arrived at the flying field around 6.45, all models still intact after a mad dash along the A2 and some rather bendy country lanes.

First out of the cars were a pair of Weston Cougars, one of my favourite planks (sorry for the term plank but I class myself as a heli flyer). Once started and both airborne there was a really noticeable difference in performance between the two. Dale's is fitted with a OS46LA, whilst mine has a West Eurotech 36 fitted. We both decided to go for height, (when I say height I mean the clouds were getting in the way) Dale's climb rate was respectable but mine climbed like a homesick angel. After a few attempts at getting it to flatspin & some low inverted circuits I was out of fuel, so was forced to land and get the next model out.

The next candidate was a Century Predator Gasser which has had one previous flight. The beauty of petrol powered models is that they are cheap to run & there is no starting equipment required. The previous flight was used to set the model and engine up correctly. After a few tweaks to the engine I was happy with the way she was running I thought we would do a few gentle circuits with a couple of stall turns thrown in for good measure. I must say this is probably the most stable model in the hover I have ever flown. I landed, then passed the controls to Dale for a quick play. He also loved how stable it flew.

The amount of fun you can have with an electric Zagi is amazing. This model is so much fun and so unbreakable, I found myself doing the silliest of things with it. Like skimming across the strip with the prop clipping the grass on its way through, stalling it from up high and seeing who could get the highest bounce when it hit the deck!
Who cares, the chances of breaking it are near nil.

That's how is continued for the rest of the evening.... until we remembered that to fly in the dark - which i used to do on a regular basis - you need 'glow sticks'. ()

So, back to the shop to unload all the models - we both commented on what a great evening's flying it was, probably one of the best this year - we are not trying to tempt fate or anything, but are now charging everything in sight ready for another evening of fun.

One of the best things you can invest in is a fast charger - perfect for those last minute decisions to go flying, we have all put a lot of miles on my poor old ripmax fast charger.

Coaxial RC Helicopters - How Do they Work?

Coaxial RC Helicopters - How Do they Work?

Rc Helicopter

You may have heard the term, coaxial RC helicopters and wondered exactly what they were. The truth is, you've probably seen one or may even own one. They are the double bladed helicopters you see out there, with two main rotor blades and no tail rotor. The first time I saw one I was wondering not only just what the heck it was, but how does it work? Here I'll tell you all about it!

One thing about them, coaxial helicopters have almost single-handedly brought hordes of new enthusiasts into the hobby with their ease of use. It's hard not to see one of them anymore, and the advent of the micro electric RC helicopters in coaxial mode has opened up the great indoors as a flying ground. Being a very stable in flight aircraft and usually ready to fly out of the box, the coaxial RC helicopter is the only choice indoors.

So how do they fly? The traditional helicopter setup of one rotor blade and one tail rotor is replaced instead by two main rotors, each spinning in the opposite direction. This eliminates the need for a tail rotor, as its only function anyway was to counteract the yaw produced by the one blade spinning in one direction. This makes the coaxial RC helicopter very stable, if a bit slow and unresponsive. It's a great model to learn to fly with, indoors or out, and can help one graduate to single bladed models later on.

The only drawback I find in some coaxial RC helicopters is that the two rotors have to be spinning at the exact same rate. In other words, the two motors have to in sync with each other, or the helicopter will not even lift off.

As always, practice safety when operating these birds, as they have two blades (which will hurt twice as much as one!) and should be handled will all the respect you would with any other RC aircraft.

Coaxial RC helicopters have brought many more people into the enjoyable hobby of RC helicopter flying. If you haven't yet managed to get your own bird into the air, don't wait any longer! Get out there today!

RTF Electric RC Helicopters - True or Not?

RTF Electric RC Helicopters - True or Not?

Rc Helicopter

With all the popularity that electric RC helicopters have enjoyed recently, mainly due to major advances in the control and electronic capabilities, it would be understandable to believe the now common claims of manufacturers who claim that their RC helicopters come RTF, (ready to fly) and leave it at that. In truth there are varying degrees of RTF, and even though with the now cheaper prices you're paying for these electric RC models, you would think there would be some setup, and in fact there most of the time is. Let's just call this buyer be aware!

The first thing to mention is that while RTF may indeed mean that you can actually get your bird into the air, that may not mean that you'll keep it there! There is a learning curve, and while these may be mini versions of the real things, they still will leave a mark if they crash into you or anyone around you. The point is, you need to learn how to do operate your electric RC helicopter, and the best way to do that is in a simulator. There are free ones available, but the best ones cost a bit, but will me than make up for their cost by saving your models from immediate crash and burn!

There may well be things either missing or needing more than actually comes in the box. This is usually related to the battery packs for the RC controller. There are batteries required for this to operate, and if they do come with the kit, they will not last long and soon you'll find yourself needing a battery charger to keep your RC helicopter in the air! (You may want to invest in somewhat better batteries, as well!) Some newer models now actually come with a charger, a step in the right direction!

In general, you will come to find out that most of the truly ready to fly (RTF) models will come in the 2 channel variety, and most of these will be smallish, which is fine, because they will be easier to fly, and for beginning RC helicopter enthusiasts, this is a good thing, allowing them to learn without breaking the RC Helicopter or the budget!

When it comes to RTF, make sure to delve a little deeper and see what is truly ready to fly!

What is RC Helicopters CCPM and Does it Actually Work?

What is RC Helicopters CCPM and Does it Actually Work?

Rc Helicopter

It 'true that almost all the publicity has remote controlled helicopter that you see today on their chopper with 120 or 140 "CCPM". It could be a stunt? A trick, perhaps the ultimate marketing slogan. I am proud to say that the answer is no. It's actually a great bonus. Totally simplifies life flight for you, your servant makes us happy, and makes your rc helicopter to fly even better. I will help you understand better what CCPM is and what it does ... TheBenefits turn out to be obvious. It is a nickname is short for ... Collective cyclic pitch mixing. This feature is only found in helicopters radio controlled helicopter and do not apply to fixed propeller. I should note that from time to time to see CCPM talked about how electronic or mechanical mixing. While this is essentially true, I feel that too adds to the confusion. Considering that it is authentic only in the electronic CCPM, this is how it will be described inthis article.

CCPM has come to the scene, simple as that mechanically mixing tactics. One way to manage the function of pitch and loops through a complex series of links and levers. Generally, the systems were made by mixing the (CP), the action step with the slave servo cyclic left and right and front and rear power measurements in the cyclic swashplate. The main disadvantage in some forms of mechanical mixing is derived from any obligations andlevers; there is forever a bit of slop or have fun in them. This can be minimized on excessive modeled helis by using the simple ball bearings on all of these levers instead of straightforward bushings, but it goes without saying that adds to cost and mass. This tactic of pitch control also puts a lot of strain on the pitch servo. It not only has to move the entire swash pate up and down to change the pitch angle of the main rotor blades, it has to overcome all the friction associated with all the linkages. Mechanical mixing does encompass a few advantages, such as no complex "swashplate" setup to elude change issues and for the reason that the servos are regularly mounted in a servo tray and not in the frame of the helicopter, they are open to less vibration. These are negligible benefits considering that these days servos are much stronger and presently there are ways to almost cut out swash plate turnover with a good computerized and programable radio and knowledge of the proper setup agendum.

Cyclic-collective-pitch-mixing (C-C-P-M) is simply achievable because of advances in computerized radio controlled knowledge. The mixing features are all completed electronically inside the radio and the servos all work together and move accordingly. Nowadays two, three, or on occasion four servos can be hooked precisely to the swash plate with out any complicated mixing linkages. This of course makes the helicopter simple, reduces the amount of parts, substance, and money. There is a smaller amount slop in the structure and this provides very clear-cut control of your helicopter. The drawback of unwarranted strain on the pitch servo is also no more. Not only because the linkages are gone, but in addition because the work load is currently spread over two or possibly more servos.

You should buy fixed pitch or collective pitch RC helicopters?

You should buy fixed pitch or collective pitch RC helicopters?

Rc Helicopter

RC Helicopters have the hobby of choice for those who want to be outside and has a love of flying, in any form. Remote-controlled helicopters have taken the fancy of many new hobby caught, and some of them have the sense and meaning of "fixed pitch" and "Collective Pitch" confused. These are often found in the field and you have to do know the difference.

First of all, the "field" refers to the angle of the rotor blades of the helicopter. This measure, as it relates to the horizontal plane. With a permanent service helicopter lift itching is due to the increased speed of the rotor blades is produced, and vice versa is reduced if the speed is reduced. Now, step by helicopter, the same field is a factor in how lift is generated. During the flight, with a constant speed, the lift can be the division of the leaf is also affected.

What does one step better or worse than the other? Well, the answer lies inthe impact that each type of misfortune on the helicopter flight. Pitch RC Helicopters are flying to more responsive, easier, and more complicated maneuvers can function correctly. I am a little 'more advanced and require a learning curve longer and more complex a transmitter, and are much more expensive than fixed pitch range. They also tend to be somewhat 'softer, with more moving parts, and can not break even in a little', and maintainsMore to the ground. So basically, you pay for better performance.

The fixed pitch RC helicopter, while a little 'easier to fly and ready to fly as a rule, out of the box, have the advantage, for beginners to get the basics down, first to an expanded configuration. This is of course a matter of choice. If you dive right in, by all means they want! The point here is to highlight the differences between the two types of RC helicopters and lets you decide for yourselfthe flight plan file.

Whatever you decide always, these birds are a gas! (Or an electric, if you prefer!) Quit now and get in the air!

Military Helicopters Remote Control

Military Helicopters Remote Control

Rc Helicopter

Emergency aid is becoming increasingly complex. Emergency units are more difficult and more risky operations daily after day. Some operations require remote monitoring, before a man on earth, and that's where the unmanned vehicles that come into play

Received remote control helicopters with rescue and military surveillance in more of a place before they actually get there and it saves a lot of popular life. Where a forecastExplosive suspected at first when the army sends a helicopter UAV RC toys such as those important little information on the website needs to collect to disarm the device.

The remote control helicopter will have an advantage in this type of work that goes unnoticed behind enemy lines, a helicopter or a real man in comparison. Their small size and improved aerodynamics to give credit to. It can fly very low with minimal noise or no noise andFactor, they have no interest in microwave interference, as by radar and may never have to surprise the enemy and the enemy will never know.

Because of the growing interest in the machines are a lot of research has been done to improve their efficiency and responsibility in a military plane. China and the U.S. are leaders in research and you can never blame them as they try to force the world's strongest. The research focuses primarily on improvingthe flight time and load. The field can no longer go there instead of a problem with satellite communications. The search is now from the most efficient source of energy.

The power source must be simple and should work longer without recharging and filling. This has led to the development of different types of engines. Modern helicopters are running on nitrous oxide and high-power batteries. Some cells have pictures as their bodies so that they are running skeletonSolar Energy. Improved as a lead batteries lithium polymer, which may be a higher power. The batteries will be supplemented by solar panels. So they can go for a long time without replacement.

Military helicopter remote control cars have a higher skill and acrobatics. Their aerodynamics are so large that they can access even the most remote of all places easily. You can take a sudden sharp curves and other heights can land almost anywhere. You can use all trainsthe real plane can do, and maybe even better. The risks are minimal if they crash, the pilot can be bolder. However, their speed is a problem because of their size and power source.

Furnished in connection with camera functions, are among the most powerful intelligence tools. Improved technology in the lens industry has seen the production of cameras stronger and more powerful. IP cameras can be used to send images in real-time remote control helicopter base miles will be removed.

Electric RC helicopters and their growing demand

Electric RC helicopters and their growing demand

Rc Helicopter

Aviation has a theme, which continued to be a great source of interest for adventurers and aircraft enthusiasts all over the world in the last century. Fans around the world love to fly aircraft of all types. While many have had the privilege, with the help of one kind or another aircraft in the air, there are some who realize their dreams with smaller flying models. The planes are small and made of lightweight material with a motorand a remote control. Helicopters are a particularly preferred type of aircraft in this league drone. Electric RC helicopters are a subgroup of this type and are known for the benefits provided by the electric motor.

In the near past, electric RC helicopters used in mainly because of their small size and lack of smoke. Larger helicopters have been developed since then and are ideal for outdoor use. These haveIn recent years available and are very popular. Their silence is a factor that contributes greatly to their popularity. Therefore, they can also be flown in areas where there are restrictions on noise levels. Original Nitro helicopters have also been converted to electric helicopter with the help of commercial or home made kits.

However, these helicopters were not as popular first request from the price tag, the amount of maintenance andcountless amounts of practice and patience needed to fly properly. Today it is no longer the case and these helicopters have reached the popularity and get with the customer over the years. Below are some features that makes them popular nowadays:

* Reasonable cost: in the past RC helicopters usually came at a price steep and configuration in which each party was required to be purchased and installed. Electric RC helicopters usually come for lessmodels then $ 200, cheaper and more sophisticated on a regular basis. The best part is that they are fully assembled and generally ready to fly. All the necessary equipment and supplies are included in the set. Also thanks to the batteries to operate the helicopter, the money is not stored longer than necessary to buy several gallons of gasoline to fly.

* Clean and silent: Originally thought to be creating a lot of noise and do, rarely RC helicopters flew roundNeighborhoods. However, issues of noise and the size is not a problem with the electric RC models. The noise has been reduced significantly, while the contamination was abolished altogether. This has also made his safe neighborhood.

* Reliable and convenient flight: Helicopter crashes are subject to gas because the gas engines are not really reliable. Electric helicopter, on the contrary are very reliable. Do not cut in mid-air, even when the battery down, and there is no needCrank the engine over and over again. The electric motors can function anywhere at any point of time, while the battery. They are also easier to fly then gas models which makes them ideal for beginners.

There are some other advantages as well as the electric RC Helicopter. These include ease of maintenance, and the amount of fixing to do to maintain a minimum and also its size. These helicopters can be small enough to be flown in the bedroom. Enhanced with modelson a regular basis, it is no wonder that these helicopters are so popular?

Remote Control for kids - toys and mini RC helicopters and airplanes Spell Fun For Teens

Remote Control for kids - toys and mini RC helicopters and airplanes Spell Fun For Teens

Rc Helicopter

Once upon a time, not too long ago, flying remote control airplanes was considered too difficult and costly for all but the most ardent enthusiast. Remote control helicopters were even more demanding and expensive, and neither was an appropriate hobby for non-adults. But in recent years, with the introduction of toy and mini helicopters and planes, all that's changed, particularly where helis are concerned. Today, kids remote control has, excuse the phrase, really taken off.

Toy Helicopters and planes are more stable and less control as a hobby-class models and are easier to fly for beginners and children a. You're not going that fast, or perform maneuvers that larger, more complex models, but they are cheap and make great kids remote control airplanes start. Many helicopter toys will cost less than $ 50.00, with games going on this RC aircraft or more.

Micro or mini-helicopters and airplanes are a cross between a toy and hobby grades. They cost more,I am a little 'less easy to drive and maneuver and performs better than a toy. Micros are cheaper and less difficult to master as a hobby class, and performance comparable to some low-end gas-air. Some toys can be driven by children as young as 6 or 7, while the mini is more suitable for a maximum of 8.

Most of the toys and microphones are ready to fly, which means they are fully enclosed and equipped with everything except the batteries. They are very quiet, environmentally friendly and do not require gas serviceAirplanes do. Tons of fun and very affordable, mini RC helicopters and airplanes are a good way to scratch your itchy remote children.

A couple of interesting things about RC helicopters that you do not know May

A couple of interesting things about RC helicopters that you do not know May

Rc Helicopter

RC Electric Radio Controlled Helicopter helicopters that are popular not only among children but also adults. Aircraft you are different in terms of aerodynamics, training to fly them and their construction of RC aircraft. These helicopters are available in different models, each with varying complexity. But the complexity of design, as in the case of aircraft pitch, also means better maneuverability and aerobatic capabilities. The design, functions and oars of the small models are similar to those full-size helicopter.

The flight control of radio-controlled helicopters includes controllers for the collective and the throttle valve is usually connected to each other, to control the tail rotor for yaw control and the cyclic, which is used to roll and pitch.

Small size servo motors are used to manipulate these controls. The motors for radio controlled clocksThe helicopters are generally used two-stroke engines, methanol, but the newer versions have brushless motors that require a lithium polymer battery. You will also find gasoline or jet engines in some models of turbine.

Two of the most popular versions of those radio-controlled helicopter electric or nitro must be provided. Its low price coupled with better performance is the reason for his immense popularity. You can purchase electric RC helicopter kits availabledifferent manufacturers and it takes between 5 and 20 hours to assemble.

Nitro: These models use a combination of ethanol and methanol, or nitro for internal combustion engines. They are available in various sizes 15-90, but these numbers are not indicative of the length of the rotor, but are available for the engine in the Nitro model. The higher the number, the larger the engine, which means more power, larger blades, which in turn corresponds to a larger size classes all over againthe helicopter.

Electrical: electric RC helicopters even though they are a relatively new introduction to the market, have gained incredible popularity and are now seen more frequently than the nitro-powered models. We use the models to the lithium-polymer batteries for power, which requires high voltage to obtain during aerobatic maneuvers, without increasing the weight of the feeding pattern. Depending on the size of aircraft and type of battery that you can remain in a helicopterthe air from 4 to 12 minuets.

Although electric sports aircraft models have been available for some years, have been used mainly at home because of limited power, small size and no exhaust. But the new generations of RC electric helicopters are quiet and have more agility of acrobatics.

You can convert nitro powered radio-controlled clock-powered electric model helicopter with the help of homemade kit. These models are usually made of plastic,Aluminum, fiberglass or carbon fiber. The blades are made of fiberglass or carbon fiber wood. Be especially careful during the assembly of these aircraft, helicopters, because they are sensitive to vibrations of fixed-wing aircraft.

In addition to the recreational use of these involved small RC electric helicopters can also be used for photography at a low altitude, remote control and observation, the police and shooting. In fact,Several models of remote-controlled helicopters are designed specifically for this purpose.

RC Military Helicopters

RC Military Helicopters

Rc Helicopter

There are two different forms of the body in the world RC Helicopter - pod and boom, and the model. Pod and boom design refers to the "Dragonfly" single-rotor helicopter and 3D sports (eg, collective pitch and fixed models) that consist of a sleeve, all major mechanical parts, and a long tail boom at the end of a rotor .

They are designed for flexibility, balance and speed (like a dragonfly) is built on and are completely different from that of a helicopter with appearance than reality. TheThe producers have stripped everything except the "Bare Bones". For those who are against the power of the substance over form, but it is all you need. They form the bulk of the electric helicopter market, where size and weight are at a premium.

Scale Model RC Helicopters, on the other hand, are exact replicas of real craft to which they are named. And 'in this second group, the military helicopters RC. The difference between these and conventional (civilian) repliesobvious. They should fly in combat. They are designed to be fast and agile.

And this is exactly what the military all RC helicopters. They're good, yes - but in a khaki-macho way. Unlike civilian performances, these are built for looks and performance. For this reason, they constitute the bulk of the scale RC electric helicopter.

All Electric RC Helicopter Military purchased ready to fly - unlike their larger gas-powered agent, whose proud ownersBuilding from scratch. It may seem cumbersome turbo and a few men in khaki uniforms in the War Games rallies impressive, but for a beginner to have fun with the combat maneuvers are electric best. Apart from anything they are less expensive. Look good too.

Electric RC Military Helicopters are always co-axial, as the tail. This allows them, in a realistic way possible, such as coaxial RC helicopter ever shorter, the tail broader than the CP / FP crafts. Some soldiers are coaxial, in fact, have a rudder, in addition to the double main rotor. This makes the craft more maneuverable, but not alter any of the other dimensions.

Strip away the outer layer, including a military helicopter power is simply a normal coaxial cable. Everything has been done, the details of a military tent or add fuselage. This can easily be plastic or aluminum and can be purchased as an upgrade kit for standard boom pod and crafts.

Even if you arrived by helicopter coaxial 3Channel, most of the fourth military power This step allows the rotors, an additional lift, and so on. What you get is therefore almost as a field-model: the pilot can perform flips, rolls, dives and even reversals, and bombs - just like in real life!

The job creation model helicopters

The job creation model helicopters

Rc Helicopter

Today is the collection of the most popular hobbies in a helicopter. This is true for both adults and children. Some may prefer to build model helicopters only for their collection, while others want to learn how to build and fly them.

Putting together a scale model can be as simple as buying a kit from your local hobby shop, or it can be as complicated as creating from scratch is modeled after a real right scale helicopterin detail.

You will find that model helicopters of all shapes and sizes. Some require more skill to accomplish other than the construction. If you like to build a remote controlled helicopter, then you have the task of learning to fly. No matter which model you choose, you did a lot of fun there together.

To start your hobby, you should opt for a theme for your level of skill (and patience) is based. You have multipleOptions to choose from. You can go for helicopters in flight, or you may want to start with a scale model plastic helicopter. There are also helicopters, which are made of wood. There are many models of helicopters, the simple to build, even for a beginner. They often contain parts that are assembled, so all you have to do is install them in the frame of the helicopter.

Electric R / C helicopters are a relatively new development, which is possible because theRecent advances in the miniaturization of radio-control units and the improvement of electric motors and batteries. There are a variety of different models that are now both in kit form and as ready to fly kit.

Learn to fly R / C Helicopter is the most difficult aspect of the flight model. Gives off many different types of helicopter model immediately including mini-electric models, and large internal combustion engine powered models.

Planning, development, construction andSculpture, a scale model RC helicopter from scratch can be fun, and can give a great sense of fulfillment, where everything fits and looks exactly as you want. All over the country and around the world there are races in which they are built models based on how closely resemble full-size helicopters are modeled to evaluate zero.

Remote Control Helicopters These Days

Many fun activities can now be done in your spare time, as many manufacturers ventured into creative games that you can feel comfortable and have fun. With a remote controlled helicopter is an opportunity for you to enjoy your free time with your friends and even your children. RC helicopters are also those people who really want to one day be used to pilot one. In this activity, you get to meet, somehow, your dream become agood pilot one day. But you must remember that a lot of things must be understood on this helicopter, because the devices can be very complicated. The RC helicopter are well advanced in those days and I'm certainly happy for you. But you must remember that there are still things you need to remember to direct all the time good for you.

LEARN to float

Rc Helicopter

It may seem simple to do, fly the helicopter on the ground. But you must realize that to get it right, we mustto develop basic skills at first. It requires great control of you, so that the helicopter crash is not only easy. To learn more, you may need to read the educational material provided by the manufacturer. If you do this, you become familiar with the basic parts of the helicopter and also, you will be able to understand the functions of the parts. They start to float around finding the right place for the helicopter. You must select the level and free of obstacles such asBuildings and trees. You also need to start carefully to ensure that the keys are well controlled.

REPAIR

Sometimes there is a problem with the helicopters you have. There are cases that need to fix the toy. So first you need to take a photo of a helicopter to break it before you. This will ensure that you have a reference a. Perform a lubricating oil for a few days of flying with nitro fuel. This keeps the enginework well as usual. You also have to remove the glue that stick in the metal parts of the helicopter remains.

HOW TO FLY

They are often found on the remote control RC helicopters. You must know who controls the movement of the helicopter keys from left to right or up and down. One thing you must remember is that you are as sweet as you apply pressure on the helicopter. This is very important, especially if you are just starting to learnto fly. It is also necessary to develop the capacity at a time, to make sure you keep your head in practice.

As far as possible, so that you know how to control remote control helicopter in the best possible way. Always remember that the suggestions here will certainly do my best. Keep in mind, as always.

If you are very unsure about the condition of the helicopter, try someone who is an expert to interview or who has knowledge about it. It 'difficult to determine if there is something wrong with the machine. It 'a good way to ensure that the helicopter is in good condition while flyingit.

Basics

You must make sure that you learn the basic skills below the RC helicopter, before going on to more advanced. Learning to move the helicopter properly, before doing some tricks. Beginner RC Helicopters

Always buy a remote controlled helicopter with a minimum of 4 channels - anything less is to control difficult to maintain and fly in all directions. 4 channels are challenging, but once you get the hang of it, the flying experience is a thousand times better and will serve you well should you ever wanted to switch to advanced helicopter. Models advanced 6-channel or more, up to the next step or a first purchase if you have adequate support.

Buy oneHelicopter with a good backup and support - you can spare parts, upgrades, telephone or e-mail support and someone to fix it, if things go wrong. Consider a company that backup and support for a serious RC helicopter has technicians.

Rc Helicopter

Buy educational materials to accompany your helicopter will spend some time practicing really paid dividends when it is in the air. The aid could include training ping pong balls (stabilizers) which are purchased from all good RCshop.

Consider a flight simulator - Phoenix offers the most realistic graphics and experience, or you can download the free FMS flight simulator. You can then play on your computer and self-confidence before starting for real.

Have realistic expectations - RC helicopters are incredibly fun, but you must resist the temptation to loop-the-loop to go on the first try. Try the RC on the ground, they fly only a foot or so above the ground until you are in control. Some helicopters are easier than others to move, so get some advice first.

Learn the basics of remote control helicopters

Remote control helicopters are available in a variety of formats to meet the micro-electro-toy-models, on the palm of large specimens of the real thing, which are usually operated gaseous or liquid fuels and can cost several thousand dollars.

Most beginners will start on an electric or battery-powered helicopters RC. These are quiet, small and easy to start - just turn and walk away. (Other types of engines are primed and can be very fickle) Electricalare the safest way to start, and also the easiest to fly.

Rc Helicopter

Electrically powered remote control helicopter has a rechargeable battery to power the motor. LiPo batteries are based on modern mobile technology, and have allowed a new branch of the RC off fly - micro electric helicopter.

All helicopters radio, electric or otherwise a radio transmitter, the pilot (that's you!) Works.

Transmitters have two or more channels, but ifYou want to do something different than flying in a straight line, you need at least three. Each of these canals tells the recipient to send a signal to another component to abandon the craft.

Obviously, the more channels a helicopter, the more it can do. On a simple 3-channel RC channel controls the throttle motor power for example), while the other two work "Servants" - mechanical components to change the stability of the helicopter so it can move to change direction.

There are 2 servantsconnected to a swash plate under the main rotor. All are called cyclic control rc helicopter has a swash plate, and this in turn controls the movement of the bar of flight (the funny thing to attack perpendicular to the rotor blade) These servants "Cyclics" and both the work of a control. It allows forward and backward movement of the helicopter (cyclic) and enables the other from side to side (roll cyclic) Another servant acts as a rudder at the stern so that the new helicopterand remain in the air.

When a rotor turns, the body wants to turn the helicopter in the opposite direction - this is called torque. To avoid this, remote control helicopter has two rotors in opposite directions. In a simple three-channel craft are at the center, one above the other. This is a kind of coaxial helicopter. There is no tail rotor, although there is always an oar in any form.

If there is one central rotor, one must havevertically mounted on the tail to balance. This is called the tail rotor (obviously), but also as a rudder. So, as always non-coaxial helicopter "rotor only." This means that there is only along the central axis of the rotor.

Your radio-controlled helicopters building experience not to be limited to the simple kit. There are several options for extremely advanced helicopters, the forms and functions. You can see them in stores all over the Internet, and even in some brick and mortar positions. You should not buy oneHelicopter, because it sounds interesting.

Thurs research before committing to build a special one, so that you can find out what all this has to offer.
